Updated over a year ago

When installing Guide for Desktop on MacOS it is important to install the correct version of the software for the processor technology used by MacOS.

To identify whether your system uses Apple Silicon (e.g. Apple M1 chip) or Intel follow these steps:

  1. Open the Apple menu in the top left corner of your desktop.

  2. Select About This Mac.

  3. In the "Overview" tab identify the Processor line.

  4. Check if the processor name includes "Apple" or "Intel"
