Individuals receive messages from many sources, including many that are not interesting for Compliance to review. These sources may include system notifications, news sources, or automated reports.
To help remove this noise from the Review Inbox the Ignored Senders feature enables Compliance Administrators the ability to exclude those uninteresting senders from detection policies in Review.
Making use of the Ignored Senders feature can dramatically cut down on false positives and wasted compliance time.
Adding Senders to the Ignore List
While viewing the Inbox, hover over any alert with a sender you wish to no longer review. The quick action menu appears to the right. Select the Ignore Sender icon and a notification will appear on the bottom of the screen indicating it has been successfully added.
After adding a Sender, future messages from this Sender will no longer be analyzed for compliance risk. Any alerts already present in the Inbox from this Sender will remain there and can be manually closed.
Managing Ignored Senders
To view the list of senders already added to the Ignored Senders list navigate to the Settings > Ignored Senders. Here you will see a list of all previously added Senders and their status.
To stop ignoring a particular sender, use the toggle switch on the right to set them to Inactive. Use the same toggle to restore this sender to Active.
Note: Any changes to the Ignored Senders list may take up to 5 minutes to be applied.
