Reporting on events across the application

MCO eComms captures audit events on every business entity in the application and makes this data available within the context of some system entities and as part of the global auditing report.

The Audit History Report is a single place to search for activities based on who did what on what entity in the system, and when. An overview of application auditing with links to the specific reportable events can be found below:

Using the Audit History Report

To report on the MCO eComms audit history:

  1. Login to MCO eComms: https://guide.fairwords.com as a User with a Supervisor or Admin role.

  2. Navigate to Analytics > Audit Log

  3. Specify the desired filter criteria:

    • Entity Type you wish to report on (e.g. Any, Alert, Policy, User Profile)

    • Actor who took the action or Any Actor.

    • Specific entity id which will vary based on the Entity Type. For example: User Profile will prompt for optional Name, Alert will be an Alert ID, and Policy will be a specific Policy Name.

    • Date Range of activity

    • Events filter. Select specific events specific to the chosen Entity Type or none to see all activity on the selected Entities.

  4. Click Search button to search for results.

  5. Use the Export as CSV to save your results locally for further analysis.

Audit Search Results are limited to 10,000 results. Refine your search criteria iteratively to find what you are looking for.
